Hospital Staff Welfare Committee
It is the organization for the hospital staff. The chairperson of the committee is Superintendent of the hospital. Every month members of this committee meet together and assess the performance of the committee. A fixed amount from every staff is collected as welfare fund subscription every month. This organization conducts 'Onam' festival, Hospital day celebration and other public programs. It is the initiative of staff welfare committee that organizing send off and attributes for retiring staff. At the time of marriage of the staff or their children, this committee gives a specific amount as presentation. More over, welfare committee grants cash awards for the children of staff who score highest mark in their secondary examination.
Hospital Development Committee
Hospital Development committee meet together once in three months to review the activities and to plan future development programs. This committee discuss and decide the matters related to the construction works, availability of necessary medicines and equipments, cleanliness of hospital and its environment, ambulance, water, light, telephone, drainage etc. This committee has been carrying out development activities which are in tune of lakhs of rupees. It is unanimously that the suggestions focussed on the welfare of patients are sanctioned by this committee.
The main sources of income are pass, parking fees, OP ticket, IP case sheet, lab, E.C.G and ultrasound scan. Hospital development committee has appointed 23 staff including 9 security staff. The details of HDC staff are given below.
