Women and Children's Hospital, thycadu, Thiruvananthapuram is one of the important hospitals where women and children seeking treatment. This hospital functions in the 150 years old block, K.H.R.W.S Payward, Five storied new block and in the P.P.S block.
NEW BLOCK
Ground floor: Here casualty, O.P, minor operation theater, blood bank, lab etc situated.
Ist floor: Labor room and related wards are situated here. The newborn nursery which has all modern facilities and Follow up clinic are also functions here.
IInd floor: Here situated the operation theater and related wards.
IIIrd floor: This floor is exclusively for Surgical patients.
IVth floor: This floor is exclusively for pediatric ward.
Each ward consists of cubics which has facilities to admit six patients. There are enough bathrooms and toilets everywhere The first three floors have the facility to enjoy light music, that is an important feature of this block.
